Trevor D. Bardarson, PT, OCS
Partner, Clinic Director/Houma
Trevor Bardarson graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 1994. He holds numerous credentials. He is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy by the McKenzie Institute USA, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and is currently the Training Director for the Worksaver FCE Protocol. He is an excellent hockey player but finds it difficult to pursue this interest in the swamplands of Louisiana. However, he has found new pleasures in Louisiana saltwater fishing venues.
Mr. Bardarson serves as Senior Corporate Vice President of Clinical Operations for Industrial Safety and Rehabilitation Institute and Clinic Director/Partner of ISR Physical Therapy of Houma, LLC. Mr. Bardarson has performed thousands of functional capacity evaluations (FCEs). As a result he is recognized as an expert in physical therapy and functional capacity evaluations in federal, state, and workers compensation courts.
Mr. Bardarson is astute in business operations and is in charge of expansion of ISR Institute's corporate services, development and expansion of new clinics, formation of joint ventures, and assessing new business venture opportunities. He combines the rare blend of excellent clinical skills, interpersonal skills, and business knowledge that ensures successful operations of clinic and a method of quality practice that patients and referral sources find very rewarding and effective. Mr. Bardarson has also performed hundreds of ergonomic evaluations, office and field, in both onshore and offshore environments. He is a senior faculty member of the CBES Credentialing course and specializes in the application of the McKenzie approach to spinal evaluation to treat injuries of the spine and to prevent spinal injuries. He also specializes in conditioning programs for employees, physical demand validation, and material handling analyses using the NIOSH Lift Equation. He currently oversees Industrial Safety & Rehabilitation Institute's contract with Chevron's and Tidewater's functional testing program for new and injured workers and assists Dr. Bunch in coordinating rapid response services for industries. Mr. Bardarson is a member of the American and Louisiana Physical Therapy Associations.
Marc D. Cavallino, PT, OCS
Partner, Clinic Director/Harahan
Marc Cavallino is our clinical director and part owner of our New Orleans facility. Marc graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from Louisiana State University in 1996. He then went on to complete his Master of Physical Therapy at Emory University in 2001.
Marc was awarded his certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Specialist Board and is credential (MDT) in the mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine through the world-renowned McKenzie Institute. He has experience in treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions and is experienced in FCEs, work conditioning, sports injuries as well as back and neck injuries.
Marc has been an avid triathlete since 1998 completing two full Ironman Triathlons. Marc is responsible for the oversight of our New Orleans facility and is in the facility daily to provide quality physical therapy care and functional testing.
J. Hunter Gray, PT, DPT, Cert. DN
Clinic Director/East Houma
Hunter Gray is the clinic director and is responsible for the oversight of our East Houma facility. He is a native of Schriever, La and joined ISR PT as a staff clinician in July of 2009. He graduated from Louisiana State University in May 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then went on to obtain his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana in May of 2009. He has experience in treating patients with a variety of different orthopedic conditions, industrial rehabilitation, sports injuries as well as back and neck conditions. He has furthered his education and clinical skills while at ISR PT completing course work in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment through the McKenzie Institute, Kinesio Taping techniques, and ASTYM treatment. Hunter was also awarded a certification in Dry Needling from The Spinal Manipulation Institute in August, 2017. In his free time, Hunter enjoys spending time with family, running, fishing, and golf.
Kristy Bourgeois, PT
Kristy Bourgeois joined ISR Physical Therapy in September of 2007. Kristy is a native of Thibodaux Louisiana; she graduated from Nicholls State University in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
She then went on to obtain her Master of Physical Therapy Degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences center in New Orleans, Louisiana, in August 2007.
Jaime Cruz, PT, DPT
Jaime Cruz joined the ISR team in May of 2013. She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida in 2011. Prior to physical therapy school, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Jaime's primary interest is orthopedics. She is certified in the world-renowned McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Jaime is also certified in both Dry Needling and ASTYM. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and enjoys playing the guitar, singing and spending time with her family.
Jeanne Liner, PTA
Jeanne joined ISR Physical Therapy in January of 2003. She is a native of Houma, Louisiana. She is a 1998 graduate of Delgado Community College and holds an Associate of Applied Science degree - Physical Therapy Assistant. Jeanne has 15 years of orthopedic outpatient experience which includes treating patients with varying orthopedic conditions, assisting with FCEs, work conditioning, post offer pre placement job screening, sports injuries as neck and back injuries. She has advanced training in exercise delivery, a McKenzie approach to assisting with treatments of the spine, as well as a certification to perform Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM). Jeanne is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Richard W. Bunch, PhD, PT
Dr. Bunch is a partner of ISR Physical Therapy and owns and directs ISR Institute, an ergonomics, wellness and physical therapy practice that includes outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy clinics in Louisiana that service private patients and injured workers. WorkSaver services, a proprietary program developed by Dr. Bunch, includes WorkSaver Functional Capacity Evaluations, Fit-For-Duty evaluations, and ADA-Compliant New Hire Evaluations. WorkSaver services have received high acclaim from medical physicians, employers, case managers, judges and attorneys. ISR Institute offers WorkSaver services nation-wide via a growing network of certified clinical affiliates.
Dr. Bunch is nationally known among industries as an industrial physical therapist, a dynamic professional speaker, and as an ergonomic and wellness specialist. He is the founder and provider of WorkSaver FCEs and serves as a legal expert in federal and state courts in matters of ergonomics, clinical biomechanics related to injury causation, FCEs, validity of disability, and physical therapy.
He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Human Factors & Ergonomics Society (HFES), American Association of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and National Speakers Association (NSA). Dr. Bunch is a published author and consults and lectures world-wide for industries and professional organizations.
